24 Races to Span Globe

China Returns to Calendar

The 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship will consist of 24 races, starting with the Bahrain Grand Prix in March and ending with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December. The schedule was released on Wednesday and includes a return to the Chinese Grand Prix, which was last held in 2019.

The season will also feature the Dutch Grand Prix at Circuit Zandvoort, which was added to the calendar in 2021. The Belgian Grand Prix, which was canceled in 2023 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will also return in 2024.

The 2024 season will be the longest in Formula One history, with 24 races scheduled over a 10-month period. The schedule has been designed to reduce logistical burdens and make the season more sustainable.
